Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Book An Event account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, and lets you submit a deletion request directly.

Delete from the Book An Event app

Open the app, go to My Account → Delete Account, and confirm. Your account is disabled and you are signed out immediately; the data listed below is then permanently deleted within 30 days.

3. Your account and the data listed below are permanently deleted within 30 days of a verified request.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your saved event venue / delivery addresses
• Your account login and profile photo, if any
• Your booking, order and cart history, as far as legally possible — see below

What we're required to keep, and why

Indian tax and business record-keeping law requires invoices for completed orders to be retained for a fixed number of years, even after an account is deleted. Where this applies, the invoice record is kept for that legally required period only, and is not used for anything else once your account is deleted — it is not linked back to a live, usable account.
